Baltimore Child Abuse Center Mosaic Mural (2011)
Art with a Heart partnered with the Baltimore Child Abuse Center to create a 10'x6' mosaic mural that will be installed in BCAC's office in Charles Village. On May 15th, the project was launched at a BCAC event where guests helped to complete the first of this four panel mosaic. Nearly 100 volunteers came together as a community to create this meaningful piece of art.
This mosaic, entitled "Life After Abuse," represents the healing process faced by victims of child abuse. It was unveiled at a benefit concert, Music and Mosaic, on Saturday, August 13th. |
