"Paint, Plant & Take" Party Come and bring your Mom for an afternoon of painting, planting and fun! On Saturday May 6th from 11am- 2pm at our location 3000 Falls Road Mill 1 - Baltimore, MD 21211! You will be able to choose your very own design to paint on your terracotta pot and later plant a flower of your choice in your pot. A perfect gift to give to a Mom on Mother's Day! Beautiful, one of a kind, mixed media portraits of our favorite inspirational figures, selected and created by our HeARTworks participants at Bon Secours Community Works' Youth Employment and Entrepreneurship Program (YEEP). Each figure is surrounded by delicately painted flowers, butterflies, birds, and more. Apprentices in HeARTwares helped assemble the final pieces. -

The designs were created by our Bloomberg Arts Intern, Jewel Oliver, and applied with heat transfer vinyl. Each bag also comes with an assortment of Valentine's Day candies (includes a dark chocolate heart, a milk chocolate heart, M&Ms, York Peppermint Patty, and a heart-shaped lollipop)! Inspired by artist Kimmy Cantrell, volunteers created ceramic masks, each designed with unique facial features and shapes. All masks are adhered to the matboard and individually framed. -
