ABOUT THE PROJECT
The mosaic mural depicts a diverse and bustling Baltimore neighborhood and pays homage to the work of the Abell Foundation in the areas of healthcare, education, criminal justice, workforce development, community development, the arts, and the environment, which are all referenced in the intricate details and design of the piece.
The mosaic was created by 40 individuals including the dedicated Abell Foundation staff, middle and high school students, community service groups and Art with a Heart’s weekly volunteers.
