Art with a Heart Leads Timberland in Day of Service

In a day of service that spanned the country, Art with a Heart had the pleasure of facilitating a virtual service experience for Timberland employees last month. During this event, Timberland employees created a digital memory quilt inspired by the book Tar Beach by artist and quilter, Faith Ringgold. Tar Beach is just one of the 10 children’s book titles that Timberland generously donated to Art with a Heart in numbers great enough to form class sets. These books continue to be a foundation of art curriculum for both virtual classes and in person learning when students return to school.
